Bingo Banquet tonight at 6:30!
We’re setting up at 6:00, if you’d like to help.
Any last minute questions?
E-mail Mr. Arredondo using the contact information page at the top of this website.
Reminders:
1.) Please bring your pot-luck dish. If it’s something that needs to be cooked, please cook it before hand, as we’re not allowed to use the kitchen.
2.) We’re asking families to keep younger/older siblings at home and focus on their 4th grader tonight. We have to keep our numbers down so that everyone can have a seat so, please limit it to parents and fourth graders only please.
[Too many people would mean not enough food, seating, and a need to hire security for the evening.]
3.) If needed, parking is available across the street.
4.) Fourth graders have been learning about proper dining etiquette, so please encourage them to mind their manners during dinner.
5.) There will be some bingo played, prizes won, and certificate awards handed out so this is definitely a night to bring in your camera!
6.) Out of respect for others, please mute your phones or set them to vibrate during the evening. You can always take a call in the entryway or outside.

Lots of important information:
* June 8 is the Meet and Greet event at Hampstead Middle School, where students will be bused over during the day to tour the school, meet students and staff, and also enjoy a welcoming cook-out!
* The Bingo Banquet is June 14. Mrs. Hoppa sent home a letter with the details of the event. We’re asking families to contribute $5 to help cover the cost of cups, silverware, and other supplies. We’re also still looking for parents to help us make this event a success!
* The Flume field trip is June 17. Turn in your field trip forms and fees a.s.a.p.! Only 5 students have completed the process!
* Fourth graders in four classes are going to conduct an experiment in class next week. There may be some minor supplies needed, nothing expensive or hard to come across. We’ll send home a list this week and ask that you let Mr. Arredondo know if you need helping getting any item out of the 2 or 3 on the list. Students will display their results in their class to share with their peers. This science fair will be something we’ll invivte familes to when a date is set. (Most likely the afternoon of June 20.)
* Fourth graders will meet their 5th grade teachers at Hampstead Middle School on Move Up Day on June 21st, which is also the last day of school.

Bingo Banquet is coming. We sent home a parent letter with more information and how we could use your help!
Students are starting an in-class science experiment with students from Mrs. Morin’s class that will then be conducted, written up, and then presented for other students to see the results. Parents will be invited to attend this science fair-like event when Mrs. Boucher sets the event date, which may be on the afternoon of June 20th. All the work will be done in-school (parents–you’ve done so much already with the book project and the upcoming banquet!). Students selected from preselected experiments that require little supplies, most of which are available in school. We’ll send a note home this week with groups that might need small items, such as eggs, rice, jars, etc. If you don’t have the listed items (1 or 2 per group) let us know by sending in a note and the fourth grade teachers will come up with the small items.
Next Wed. will be the “Meet & Greet” with students going to HMS.
HMS “Move-up Day” is the last day of school, June 21.
