Reading: Read 20 minutes.
Math: Multiplication worksheet.
* Family night at Book Fair tonight.
* Pumpkin Math tomorrow. Parents are invited to join us at 1:15 p.m.
* Class fall celebration tomorrow at 2:15 p.m.
* Paw Points Store is having a sale tomorrow. Bring in your earned class money!
* Parent conferences are November 2nd. There is no school for students on that day.

Reading: Read 20 minutes.
Math: Students can now play Gizmos at home, if they get parental permission. To do this, students visit http://www.explorelearning.com and log in with the user name and password they selected in computer class. Next, students add Mr. Arredondo’s class using the following code: CG7JEDRDBZ (Students were taught how to do this in computer class.)
* Family Night at the Scholastic Book Fair is Thursday 6-8 p.m.
* Pumpkin Math is Friday at 1:15. Parents are invited!
* Our class is having a fall celebration Friday at 2:15.
* Parent conferences are Tuesday, November 2nd. There is no school for students on this day. Conference sign-ups were sent home last week and a few open times remain.

Reading: Read 20 minutes.
Math: Short quiz on adding and subtacting 3 and 4 digit numbers tomorrow. Subtraction will include middle zeros.
Book fair visit for our class tomorrow. If students are buying any books, they should bring money.
Pumpkin Math on Friday!
Conferences are Nov. 2nd. Parent sign-ups went home last Friday and today students are bringing home the sign-up list with your scheduled time highlighted. If you haven’t turned in a sign-up sheet, do so quickly because so many time slots have already been taken.

Reading: Read 20 minutes.
English: Finish rewrite of spooky story. Write it in a spooky color. (S. Derry will work on it Friday morning).
Swimming field trip tomorrow. Students need to bring in a sack lunch (completely disposable, if possible), towel, and underwear under their school clothes.
Halloween carnival is October 22.
Book fair is next week. See the recently sent home flyer for more details.
Pumpkin math is next Friday at 1:15. Our class is having a party next Friday at 2:15. Mrs. Hoppa, our room mom, sent home a notice with more information.
